The Cranberry (Karpalo) Holiday Apartment is Metsäkartano’s largest apartment.

Karpalo can accommodate even larger groups.
It offers up to 11 beds: three double rooms on the ground floor and five beds on the upper floor. Karpalo also features a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, separate bathrooms on both floors, and a wood-heated sauna.
Conveniently located near the main building, Karpalo offers easy access to the restaurant and reception services just a stone’s throw away.
From Karpalo’s front and back doors, you can step straight into nature, with trails leading immediately into the forest and down to the sandy beach.

Youth Center Metsäkartano is located next to Tiilikkajärvi National Park, on the peninsula of Lake Ylä-Keyritty, surrounded by ancient, gnarled pines. Here you can experience true silence, a sense of timelessness, and the enchanting wilderness. At Metsäkartano, nature embraces you from the moment you step outside. Explore nature trails, cook over an open fire, stroll along sandy beaches, or choose from a wide range of outdoor activities. Enjoy local, freshly prepared cuisine, take a dip in some of the world’s purest waters before relaxing in the lakeside sauna, and fall asleep to clean sheets and the gentle whisper of the pines.
Metsäkartano is one of Finland’s eight youth centers. By choosing Metsäkartano, you support socially significant work.
