Koivukuja Biennale
In the summer of 2025, the Koivukuja Biennale will be held for the fifth time on Europe’s longest birch-lined avenue, which runs through the city of Iisalmi. This exhibition showcases Finnish sculptural art in a unique outdoor setting.
The curator for the 2025 Biennale is sculptor and artist professor Kaarina Kaikkonen. The working group also includes visual artist Heli Ryhänen, who has roots in Iisalmi.
The theme for 2025 is "Truth or Fairy Tale?"
