A national park surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches, winding eskers, fragrant cottongrass mires and scenic trails around Lake Tiilikkajärvi.
The Tiilikkajärvi area offers around 27 kilometres of marked trails, most of which are located near Lake Tiilikkajärvi.
Some of the must-see sights in the national park include the scenic Venäjänhiekka sand beach and the Pumpulikirkko trail, known for its striking rock formations with steep edges and a hidden glacial pothole. Those interested in the area’s history should visit Tiilikanaukio farm, where traces of historic lake ore processing can still be seen, as well as the Uitonkämppä loggers’ cabin, which reflects the era of timber floating.
